Barrio No Dengue is mobile application developed to help combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits diseases such as dengue and Zika.By using this app citizens can report sites where mosquitoes can breed, helping authorities fight the epidemic.This tool uses the GPS of the mobile device to locate foci accurately on a map and a form where users add the description of the problem and select an alert type, among other options that may include accumulated water, trash, weeds and pots, to finish can add a photo of the geographical area reported.That information shall be entered on the map with a gray icon and will be verified by specialists who control the match report mosquito disease and once verified, the data is indicated by an orange icon.For use, the application requires an email or a Facebook account to identify and contact the person who posted the alert.
